Welcome!
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
The Croatian Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics looks forward to welcoming you to the Second Croatian Congress of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics with International Participation, taking place in Opatija, Croatia, from September 18–20, 2025.
These are exciting times for clinical pharmacology, as we witness increasing research, rapid advancements in pharmacotherapy options, and the ongoing challenge of balancing financial constraints with reimbursement policies. These developments have a significant impact on healthcare systems worldwide. I am pleased that the Croatian Society is organizing its second Congress in Opatija, under the theme:
“Clinical Pharmacology: Rational Therapy for Today’s Challenges.”
We will examine and discuss crucial issues in clinical pharmacology and therapy while presenting an engaging scientific program featuring numerous sessions and lectures that reflect current medical and professional knowledge. Attendees will benefit from up-to-date research data, expert lectures across all fields of clinical pharmacology, high-quality scientific content, and interdisciplinary interactions—spanning from patient care to the pharmaceutical industry. We are particularly pleased to highlight our collaboration with the British Pharmacological Society (BPS) and the joint organization of a symposium.
Opatija is considered one of the most charming cities on the Adriatic coast. In addition to participating in high-quality scientific discussions, you will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful Kvarner region, one of Croatia’s most sought-after travel destinations, known for its rich historical heritage, vibrant culture, natural wonders, and warm hospitality.
We are confident that this Congress will provide an excellent platform for exchanging knowledge on various topics in clinical pharmacology and therapeutics, as well as for reconnecting with old colleagues and making new professional connections.
We look forward to seeing you in Opatija, Croatia, from September 18–20, 2025.
